From my Gemma Collection, a beautiful multicolor (red, grays, black and white) upcycled vintage heart-shaped fordite is captured by sterling prongs set on a sterling backplate.  The open back shows off how the pattern continues to the back.  The no-maintenance stainless steel chain has a lobster clasp and it extends from 18" to 20" long.  See other Fordite listings for a piece that compliments your own vehicle.

Fordite, also known as Detroit agate or Motor City agate, is old automotive paint which has hardened sufficiently to be cut and polished. It was formed from the buildup of layers of enamel paint slag on tracks and skids on which cars were hand spray-painted. Fordite is now cut and polished by lapidary artists and highly sought after in art jewelry.
